WHY INSULATE?
It is no secret that New Zealand has historical issues with leaking, cold, damp buildings, promoting mould and condensation issues. The Relative Humidity of New Zealand is an annual average of above 70% in all locations with many locations averaging mid to high 80%. Historic and retrofit insulating methods can also shift dew points and cause further condensation issues.
It is therefore the obvious solution to insulate all buildings whether they be dwellings or commercial properties in order to make suitable, warm, air-tight buildings with the correct ventilation.
WHAT WE DO
Historically in New Zealand, insulated roofing systems have been within the roof void and those that have been insulated above the purlin line, have been labour intensive systems with a series of components and unsightly exposed build-up internally with mesh, membranes, timber and insulation.
IPS have solutions to all of these problems by using innovative and modern technology which has been tried and tested for many years in other countries and is at the cutting edge of the construction systems available within New Zealand. Put insulation where it should go- above the substrate and outside of the building line.
